Tell the Sudanese Embassy what's on your mind

In the year 2007, we should not be imprisoning teachers for naming teddybears after religious icons. Ok, you want to jail her for naming her stuffed animals after a pedophile or murderer, you might have a case. But when you bring your backwards cult into it, you really lose credibility with the world at large - something Islam can't afford to do at this juncture.

Thanks to Kenneth for compiling all this.

Express your concern about the "Mohammed Teddy Bear" outrage to:

But if Islam is a Religion of Peace, what's the problem?

I'm sure Muslims will take it all with grace and humor. Right?

The cabinet is concerned about a 'provocative' film about the Koran by anti-immigration party PVV leader Geert Wilders which he expects to be shown on tv at the end of January.

The justice, foreign and home affairs ministers, who are worried about a backlash from Islamic countries, have warned Wilders about the risks of screening such a film.

Justice minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin stressed that while Wilders is free to express his views about the Koran, he also has a responsibility towards society in general. 'Think about the what the repercussions could be,' he said.

If the film is hard-hitting, it could evoke hard-hitting reactions against himself and others,' says the minister. Those who want a free debate must show respect for all religions and for things that are sacrosanct for others, he said.

Wilders says it is not the aim of his film to insult people but if they are insulted, that is 'a pity but not my problem'. He says he wants Muslims to realise that the Koran is a 'terrible and fascist' book which inspires people to commit 'terrible' deeds.

The last Dutchman who tried this wound up murdered in the street like an animal. But I'm sure that was just a coincidence. After all, Islam promotes peace....

No wonder Sudan is such an unsalvageable shithole

A British teacher faces a jail sentence in Sudan for insulting Islam by letting her class of seven-year-olds name a teddy bear Muhammad as part of a school project.

Gillian Gibbons, 54, from Liverpool, has been accused of blasphemy - an offence punishable by 40 lashes under Sharia - and could be imprisoned for up to six months.

She had asked the children to pick their favourite name for the new class mascot, which she was using to aid lessons about animals and their habitats. In a class vote, the pupils rejected her own suggestion of "Faris", with 20 out of 23 deciding to call the cuddly toy Muhammad - also the name of one of the class's most popular boys.

Why bother even leaving England to teach these backward donkeys? They are savage barbarians. The US government and military finally got the go-ahead through political channels to deliver aid to the cyclone-damaged areas of Bangladesh, and the Imams are bitching about Americans on their land. Same as what happened during the tsunami. Why on earth do we bother trying to unmire these people?

Yesterday she was in isolation in a cell in Khartoum, and colleagues and the consular authorities were desperately trying to negotiate her release.

Unity High School, the British school where she taught the children of Sudanese professionals, expatriates and oil workers, stood empty, amid fears of adverse reactions from Islamic extremists.

Shameful.

"Youths" injure cops

Amazing. I read 4 random reports from the ongoing Paris "youth" riots, and not one of those reports said the "M-word": Muslim. Because, ya know, if you pretend it's a Religion of Peace(tm), then it must be true!

French police fired tear gas and rubber bullets late on Monday during running battles with rioters in a suburb north of Paris where two youths died after a crash involving a police car.

During a second night of disturbances in Villiers-le-Bel and nearby areas, a local government official said one policeman suffered minor injuries after being shot in the shoulder by some kind of firearm.

A Reuters witness said police were pelted with stones and large firecrackers that exploded over their heads during hours of cat-and-mouse skirmishes with rioters.

Police replied with tear gas, rubber bullets and paint guns designed to identify troublemakers. Spent cartridges and rocks thrown by rioters littered the streets.

Around half a dozen injured officers received treatment in a local fire station used by police as a base. One officer, his face bloodied, had his arm in a sling.

Rioters torched a car, a garbage truck and a police vehicle.

I guess letting them burn things and attack cops is what the French call "reasonable accommodation". I call it grounds for mass deportation.

It was hoped by many - myself included - that once Sarkozy was elected he would put a stop to this nonsense. He obviously has little patience for the "scum", which is how he was elected in the first place. I do hope that on his return from Beijing he actually puts his foot down and squashes this ridiculous intifada. Now they've started attacking the cops - it's time to end this.

Think about it, those of you who live in North America, in cities and towns across this massive continent. How would you feel if you looked out your window one night and saw the bloodiest days of Baghdad brought to life before your eyes? This is how it is for the French right now. They are a secular Christian nation with an Islamic war taking place within it. How would you feel sending your kids out to catch the school bus in the morning amid the smoking ruins of last night's riot? Especially when you know there will be another tonight, just after dark, just after the little ones get home from ecole? We don't do such things in civilized countries. It is simply unacceptable, and yet it is happening to France. Say what you will about the French, but it will be happening here soon enough, too. And then what will you do?

Speak out against the Islamic takeover of our schools and neighborhoods now, before you are silenced for good.

Did anyone else notice?

I caught a few minutes of the tree-lighting ceremony lat night from Nathan Phillips Square while surfing channels. I happened to see the part where our erstwhile Mayor Miller came out to say a few words (and thank the sponsors). Did anyone else notice that he never once said the word Christmas, even with a gospel choir standing behind him?

When we are silenced, will the men speak up?

So they finally admitted it. The Canadian Human Rights Commission finally admitted what they are really about: Censorship.

And, he says, when he had a conversation with a Commission employee, mediator Bob Fagan, about the specifics of the allegation, he was astonished at what he heard.
"I told him that it seemed to be an abuse of the Human Rights Act for someone to try and use it as an instrument of censorship. And when I said that, on the phone, there was a pause and then he said, in a somewhat astonished tone: 'But the Human Rights Act is about censorship'. Then it was my turn to be silent on my end, because I found that breath-taking. For the Human Rights Commission's own mediator to acknowledge that censorship was the purpose of their Act."

From the horse's mouth. So can we now, in good conscience, allow it to continue? We've basically been told that - like under communist regimes - our speech and opinions are being silenced to the whims of political correctness.

Kathy wrote about this issue yesterday:

I hope Emmanuel isn't counting on getting support from the cowardly, careerist "conservative" male bloggers in this nation, who time and again have revealed themselves to be more interested in watching Family Guy than fighting for what's right.

It's true. The likes of the Blogging Tories and their ilk are more interested in preparing graphs and poll numbers, visions of party wonk jobs dancing in their uninspired heads, to bother to stand up and shout for the very things the party is supposed to represent.

Kathy, Kate and I can be out there shouting like Canadian Coulters, drawing attention to issues that affect us all and getting people talking, and all the while the men write us off as "too controversial" and kick us out of their clubhouses. When one of us gets a death threat, we only have each other to depend on - Stephen Taylor et al are too busy agreeing with those who seek to silence us, so that maybe they'll be seen as progressive enough score a policy job.

To be clear, we don't expect every conservative in Canada to agree with us - heck, we don't even agree with each other half the time - but when we're out there stirring up the bigger issues that affect not only this country but civilization as we know it, we would very much appreciate it if you would quit slagging dead-horse Stephane Dion long enough to defend our right to say the things we're saying, instead of just knee-jerking us in the balls you are oh so jealous we possess.

Black Friday

Even a Canadian like me can get in on the action. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, and Beth letting me have the goods shipped to her address, I was able to do some Black Friday shopping of my own today.

I once had the misfortune to spend Black Friday in New York City (pre-Giuliani). I thought it was the apocalypse - I was terrified! This way is far more civilized. Thanks for the assistance, Beth!

Not all religions are equal

Islam for example is merely some kind of evil sex and death cult masquerading as a religion. Think I'm wrong?

Meanwhile, horrifying new details emerged last night of the attempt by suicide bombers to kill Ms Bhutto on her return home from exile last month.

Investigators from Ms Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party said yesterday they believed the bomb, which killed 170 people and left hundreds more wounded, was strapped to a one-year-old child carried by its jihadist father.

They said the suicide bomber tried repeatedly to carry the baby to Ms Bhutto's vehicle as she drove in a late-night cavalcade through the streets of Karachi.

Religion of Peace, my fat white ass. There is no God in a cult(ure) that would goad its adherents to such acts.

I am all for workplace incentives

You know: Go the extra mile, work the extra hours, finish that impossible project, and reap the rewards.

But you shouldn't be given incentives to do the most basic functions of your job. For that, you already get a paycheck. And if you perform those functions day after day, week after week, year after year, you get to keep your paycheck and not get fired. Not getting fired is a great incentive.

Doctors, nurses and other health-care workers at Canada's largest research hospital will soon learn that cleanliness is not only next to godliness - it also brings them that much closer to a Timbit.

In an effort to persuade hospital workers to properly clean their hands, a roaming posse of infection control staff at University Health Network will give a $2 Tim Hortons gift certificate to some of those caught cleaning their hands at its Princess Margaret, Toronto General and Toronto Western hospitals.

In the real world, if you do not perform the basic functions of your job, you lose it. A "disincentive", I believe it's called. Maybe that's what we need, instead.

I feel safer already

Each night as I go to sleep behind my locked doors, I pray that the men and women we've entrusted with our protection will keep me safe through the night, so I can rest in the blissful ignorance that comes with feeling secure. And now, thanks to political correctness, that security is all but assured for Londoners....

Sir Ian Blair's force is spending 15,000[pounds sterling] of public money creating "ethnically diverse" police mascots after one officer complained that the original white male model was alienating women and ethnic minority staff.

Scotland Yard approved the cost for creating a cast of four police figures including an Asian female community support officer called Sunita.

Sir Ian said: "These characters will be more representative of London's population and the diverse range of police personnel.

"The choice of characters will allow the concept of a Safer Neighbourhoods team to be presented to young children as well as delivering an important message about the different roles of PCSOs and constables."

The project has now been renamed "Police Pals" and police officer versions of the costumes will also be made.

The 12 new costumes - four for each character - include PCSO Steve, an Asian woman PCSO named Sunita, and a man and a woman police constable. They are expected to be ready early next year.

The 15,000[pounds sterling] bill includes 600[pounds sterling] in design costs and 14,400[pounds sterling] for the creation of four suits for each of the three characters.

Sir Ian has striven to make the Met more ethnically diverse.

In the month he started as Commissioner in February 2005, the Oxford English graduate replaced the phrase "visible ethnic minority" with "minority group".

Last year, he asked his officers to declare whether they are homosexual, a first step to setting up quotas for numbers of gay and lesbian officers.

Sleep in peace, London. The PC Police have your back.

Here we go again

A security guard at Toronto's Pearson airport has been laid off for wearing a skirt that is too long - not too short - for the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority.

Halima Muse, a practising Muslim, says she has been laid off without pay until she agrees to wear a standard uniform that includes either slacks or a skirt falling at the knee.

Muse says she's the target of religious discrimination, as Islam instructs that she dress modestly in a way that covers the body and conceals its curves.

Cue the accusations of Islamaphobia. Why couldn't she wear the pants? I live in Toronto, and every day on the street I pass Muslim girls in pants.

If Halima is on a religious crusade for Islam, maybe working security at a major international airport isn't in anyone's best interest. Just sayin'.

Like a virgin

I'm sure even Madonna never had this in mind.

Women are being given controversial "virginity repair" operations on the NHS, it emerged last night.

Taxpayers funded 24 hymen replacement operations between 2005 and 2006, official figures revealed.

And increasing numbers of women are paying up to £4,000 in private clinics for the procedure apparently under pressure from future spouses or in-laws who believe they should be virgins on their wedding night.

Doctors said most patients are immigrants or British of ethnic origin.

So Muslim women are using Britain's health service to dupe their arranged husbands into believing they are virgins. And Brits are paying for this. Nice.

Suffice it to say I was no virgin when I married, but it was a choice I made (sort of). I could have just kept my damn pants on and not fucked around before getting married. And I suppose if that were still what was expected of women in my society and culture, I would have cared a little more about it.

Another option for these girls is honesty. Read the comments over at the Mail. One after the other is pointing out how these women are beginning their marriages under false pretenses.

But it can also be conducted as a purely cosmetic procedure. A membrane is constructed, sometimes including a capsule of an artificial blood-like substance.

This operation is intended to be performed within a few days before an intended marriage.

Wow.

Another female Muslim subverts her host country

This time by infiltrating the CIA and FBI.

A Lebanese woman who worked for the CIA and FBI pleaded guilty on Tuesday to using government computers to gain information about the Hezbollah militant group and fraudulently obtaining U.S. citizenship, the Justice Department said.

Nada Prouty, 37, pleaded guilty in Michigan to charges of conspiracy, unauthorized computer access and naturalization fraud. The charges carry penalties of up to 10 years in prison, fines and loss of citizenship.

It's time we let go of our politically correct notion that Muslims can be trusted. Time and again they are proving that "loons" and "extremists" like me (not to mention all the unprintable names I get called) might not be far off the mark. I cannot understand why we are so willing to risk public security by extending sensitive positions to people who are taught from the very womb to hate and murder and subvert.

Arafat memorial erupts into gunfire in Gaza

Aqua Dates?

Another toy recall, this time the colorful Aqua Dots. Only it isn't a lead issue this time around. It's much worse. When ingested, the chemicals in the Dots become GHB, or the Date Rape Drug.

Children who swallow the beads become dizzy, vomit, and can slip into a temporary coma. Two incidents related to the beads have been reported in the U.S., and four cases have been reported in Australia.

The toy is marketed in North America under the brand Aqua Dots by Toronto-based distributor Spin Master; in Australia, the toy is sold under the name Bindeez by Moose Enterprises of Melbourne. Both products are manufactured in China.

On Wednesday, Moose Enterprises announced an Australia-wide recall of Bindeez. Subsequently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Spin Master issued a voluntary recall of 4.2 million units of Aqua Dots in North America.

Now that this information is in the news - and it should be - I am worried that we may see a rash of assaults from idiot teenage boys who find out that they have this drug at their easy disposal. And if this does happen, then the Chinese have a helluva lot more to be held to account on than just lead paint. No recall can undo a rape.

Why was she working at the airport?

What is with this driving need in the West to have Muslims working in our airports? Just what are we trying to prove?

Samina Malik from Southall, west London, has been found guilty at the Old Bailey of owning terrorist manuals.

The jury heard Malik had written extremist poems praising Osama Bin Laden, supporting martyrdom and discussing beheading.

Malik worked at WH Smith at Heathrow Airport until her arrest last October.

This is a 23-year old hijab wearing woman. Who worked at an airport. The mind reels. This raises many issues. First of all, when we think of terrorists and their supporters, we think of men. That's not always the case though, as here in Toronto, we discovered that the wives of the men we arrested were pushing them hard towards jihad.

So while I am in favor of giving women in Islamic countries more rights, letting them get an education, letting them drive, keeping them from being stoned to death; I know we must be ever mindful that just because they are the "fairer sex" does not mean they don't have the same hateful ideology running through their veins as the men do. They are Muslims first, and women second. And we should watch our backs at all times.

And maybe keep them out of the airports. Just a suggestion.

Hillary backed by terrorists? Investigative press yawns

I can't believe only one source is carrying this story. Even if it's just a rumor, wouldn't you think that our tenacious (read: Fake but accurate) free press in the West would be all over this, proving its verity or fallacy?

Maybe Britney had another custody hearing today that kept them occupied.

Presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., has taken thousands of dollars in cash donations from Islamists under federal investigation for terror-financing, money laundering and tax fraud, WND has learned.

The Democrat senator over the past seven months has received $1,000 from M. Yaqub Mirza and another $500 from M. Omar Ashraf, federal campaign records show. Federal agents raided the Virginia homes and offices of the Muslim donors after 9/11 for ties to terrorism.

Others tied to the still-active probe also have contributed money to Clinton, including one Muslim man who after 9/11 complained the U.S. government should focus on changing its Mideast policies instead of killing Osama bin Laden and other Islamic terrorists.

Remember when someone made that suggestion to Rudy?

Sterling Management (above link over the men's names) also runs a charitable foundation.

Muslims are ordained to practice regular charitable giving in the form of Zakah (wealth tax), bequest and Sadaqah.

Payment of Zakah is obligatory (2:3, 43, 100, 177, 195, 254, 277) and is due on current year's gross income (before taxes) less Nisab (essential needs for a lunar year) and on income on savings and investments. Bequest (through a will "wassiyyah") is limited to 1/3 of the assets to be conveyed upon death, only to non-inheritors. Sadaqah (gift) is given by one living person to another as the Prophet (SAW) has encouraged: "Exchange gifts among yourselves and thus strengthen mutual love with one another."

No indication is given as to what charities have been chosen by the fund.

The Religion of Uncovered Meat

Reaching out to spread the word of the Holy Koran...

A young Christian woman was kidnapped, raped and forced to convert to Islam by a Muslim man in Faisalabad, Khalil Tahir, chairman of "Adal Trust," a free legal aid organisation that helps minorities, told AsiaNews.

According to early reports, 18-year-old Razia went to visit her aunt on October 21 but never came home. Her parents went out looking for her but to no avail. They also contacted a Muslim man, Sajid, who had harassed her in the past, but he denied any knowledge of her whereabouts.

Razia did eventually make it home on October 31 in a state of shock. She told her parents that Sajid had abducted her, repeatedly raped her and forced her to convert to Islam. She is currently under medical care.

"The girl's father went to the police to file a complaint on the evening of Razia's return, but they were reluctant to register the case fearing that it might get out of proportion because of its religious element," Khalil Tahir told AsiaNews.

I wonder if this means that, now that she's a Muslim, will she be stoned to death for extramarital sex?

Iran celebrates anniversary of Carter's lowest moment

It was on this date in 1979 that Iranian militants took Americans hostage at the embassy for 444 days. Today Iran uses it as a lesson in hatred for the next generation of would-be martyrs and thugs.

Thousands of young Iranians proclaimed "Death to America" on Sunday as they celebrated the 28th anniversary of the storming of the US embassy in Tehran by student radicals.

A massive crowd, composed mainly of schoolchildren bussed in to central Tehran, gathered outside the site of the former US embassy, known locally as the "Den of Spies."

"Death to America! Death to Israel!" the young people shouted, wearing bibs that depicted the burning of the US and Israeli flags.

Interior Minister Mostafa Pour Mohammadi, in a keynote address, hailed the embassy seizure as "a great and glorious event" from which Iranians were still drawing inspiration.
